McCarthy retains leadership post

Congressman Kevin McCarthy (R-Bakersfield/Porterville) will retain his House Majority Leader post. His colleagues elected him to the number-two position in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, behind Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin).
